The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation announced the penalty imposed on Brazilian defender Roger Ibañez of Al-Ahli following his red card in the team's match against Al-Fayha in the 12th round of the Roshn League.

Ibanez was shown a direct red card in the 87th minute after a violent tackle on Sabri Dahal's foot, in the match that ended with Al-Ahly winning 2-0, prompting the committee to strictly enforce the disciplinary regulations against the player.

According to the official decision, the committee has decided to automatically suspend Ibanes for one match, in addition to imposing a fine of 10,000 riyals, due to his violent conduct towards a player from the opposing team.

The committee confirmed that the penalty is not subject to appeal in accordance with Article 144 of the Disciplinary and Ethical Regulations, meaning the decision will be implemented immediately without any possibility of challenge by the club or the player.

Al-Ahli lost the services of Ibanez in the recent Clasico match against Al-Nassr in the 13th round of the Saudi League, which ended with Al-Raqi winning 3-2, affecting the team's defensive options in that encounter.

Al-Ahli is preparing to face Al-Akhdoud next Saturday as part of the 14th round of the Roshn League, while Al-Raqi currently holds fourth place with 25 points after 12 rounds.
