The Spanish Football League Association officially announced the victory of Manolo González, the head coach of Espanyol, as the best coach of the competition for December 2025.

This accolade came after the exceptional performance delivered by the "Parrots" team under his leadership during the recent rounds, where González succeeded in leading his team to achieve a series of positive results that strengthened the club's position in the standings.

German Hansi Flick, the coach of Barcelona, was among the prominent candidates for this award following the strong performances he has been delivering with the Catalan team and their leading position in the competition.

González was chosen in recognition of the qualitative leap and unexpected results he achieved with Espanyol this month.
