Wednesday 07-01-2026
Barcelona Club is heading to Saudi Arabia this afternoon to participate in the Spanish Super Cup, which is being held in the city of Jeddah with the participation of Athletic Bilbao, Atlético Madrid, and Real Madrid. The two semifinal matches will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, with the final scheduled for January 11.

This morning, Hans Flick's team will have their final training session at the Joan Gamper Sports City before traveling. The squad will include most of the first-team players, along with several members of the reserve team.

The list saw the return of Ronald Araújo to the squad after being absent since November 25, following his overcoming the toughest phase of his psychological issues and resuming training with the team. However, this does not guarantee his participation in matches, as the decision will be made in coordination between the player and the coaching staff.

On the other hand, Javi and Danish defender Andreas Christensen are absent from the squad due to injury.

The list also includes reserve players Tommy Marquez and Drew, while the participation of left-back Geoffrey Torrents remains uncertain until the last moments.

The list of players traveling to Saudi Arabia is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Juan García - Ter Stegen - Wojciech Szczęsny.

Defense line: Araújo - Baldé - Cuparsi - Gerard Martin - Kondé - Eric Garcia - Geoffrey Torrents.

Midfield: Pedri - Ferran López - Casado - Dani Olmo - De Jong - Marc Bernal - Drew - Tommy Márquez.

Attackers: Ferran Torres - Lewandowski - Lamine Yamal - Raphinha - Rashford - Bardhi.
