Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, head of Saudi club Al-Ittihad, decided to give the team players two days off following the important victory over Al-Taawoun in the 13th round of the Roshn League.

This decision came after Al-Ittihad's 1-0 victory in a match that involved significant physical effort from the players, prompting the coaching staff to grant them a temporary rest.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" explained that the team will return to group training next Wednesday to begin preparations for the anticipated match against Al-Kholood.

Al-Ittihad is preparing to face Al-Kholood next Friday, as part of the 14th round of the Saudi Professional League, in a match where they aim to continue their progress.

Al-Ittihad currently occupies fifth place in the league standings with 23 points, while Al-Kholood is in twelfth place with 12 points.

Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti played the starring role in the last match, scoring the only winning goal in the 50th minute, securing three valuable points for Al-Omied.
