Galatasaray Approaches Signing Frattesi
Wednesday 07-01-2026
Several press reports, including those by Gianluca Di Marzio and Matteo Morito, have confirmed that Turkish club Galatasaray is seriously pursuing the signing of Italian international Davide Frattesi, midfielder for Inter Milan, during the current winter transfer window. The club is prepared to invest up to 35 million euros to secure the services of the 26-year-old player.

The Italian international player, who has 33 caps for his national team, joined Inter Milan from Sassuolo in 2024. However, he has only featured in nine league matches this season under coach Christian Kivuo, starting in just one of them, totaling only 205 minutes of playtime.

Several clubs were linked with Frattesi at the start of the winter transfer window, including Juventus and Fenerbahçe, but Sunday’s reports indicate that Galatasaray is ready to make an official and serious offer in the near future.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio's reports, there are talks between the two clubs to finalize the deal as a loan with a mandatory purchase option worth around 35 million euros, while Inter Milan prefers to sell Frattesi outright rather than relying on a loan with a conditional purchase option.
