A Saudi news report stated that Al-Ittihad Club is aiming to sign Al-Hilal's midfielder Ruben Neves, whose contract expires at the end of the current season.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," the federation plans to leverage Neves' existing relationships with several team members, both within the coaching staff and among the players, to facilitate the negotiations.

The Portuguese midfielder is linked to the same agent who represents his compatriots Sergio Conceição, the Al-Ittihad coach, and Danilo Pereira, the team's defender, as well as the Brazilian midfielder Fabinho.

These four players are marketed by Gestifute, the company owned by the famous agent Jorge Mendes, which is one of the leading player management firms in the world, specializing in making offers and negotiating with clubs on behalf of its stars.

Neves joined Al Hilal in 2023, coming from English club Wolverhampton. He played 108 matches with the team, scoring 14 goals and providing 25 assists, and won the league, the King's Cup, and the local Super Cup twice.
