Three Urgent Demands from Jesus
Saturday 03-01-2026
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus outlined the course of action for Al-Nassr Club in the winter transfer market, after he raised his list of demands to the club's management to strengthen the team during the current January.

Jesus demanded the signing of a foreign central midfielder capable of controlling the midfield rhythm, along with a forward from the youth category, in addition to a Saudi defender, with the aim of improving the squad's quality and increasing competitive chances.

The Al-Nassr management, led by sports director Simao, has begun studying several names presented at the negotiation table, attempting to meet the technical staff’s needs before competitions resume.

The Al-Nassr administration seeks to reinforce the team with quality players that align with Jesus's technical vision, in order to continue competing for the Roshn Saudi League title this season,

but Al-Nassr’s plans have encountered a financial budget obstacle.

The newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat” confirmed the difficulty of securing the required amounts to complete the three deals during the winter transfer window.

These challenges have pushed the executive management of Al-Nassr Club’s company to transfer the entire financial file, including approval of new signings, to the chairman of the executive committee, Sultan Al-Sheikh.

The final decision regarding Al-Nassr’s winter signings is expected to be made in the coming days, according to the outcome of the financial review and the possibility of securing the necessary budget.
