According to the same source, the Norwegian forward is now on the list of departures due to strong competition in the attacking line and his failure to secure a regular spot within Atlético's system, in addition to receiving attractive financial offers that caught the club's management's attention.

The website pointed out that the Turkish club Fenerbahçe has made significant progress in the race to sign Sørloth, having submitted an offer worth approximately 30 million euros, which includes 25 million euros as a fixed amount and 5 million euros in bonuses and variables. This offer clearly disrupts the balance of the negotiations.

On the other hand, Atlético Madrid is carefully considering the offer but is inclined to agree due to its financial significance. It will help the club reduce the wage burden and provide liquidity to strengthen other positions in the team during the second half of the season, which aligns with their plan to reorganize the attacking line.
