Al-Ahli team suffered a double blow following their thrilling victory over Al-Nassr in the classic match during the 13th round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League.
Al-Ahli secured a valuable victory over Al-Nassr with a score of three goals to two in the match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah on Friday evening.
Al-Ahli will be without the services of right-back Ali Majrashi and French midfielder Valentin Atangana in the upcoming match against Al-Akhdoud in the 14th round of the league.
Ali Majrashi's absence came after he was directly sent off in the Clasico, following an altercation with Portuguese player João Félix of Al-Nassr just before the end of the match.
On the other hand, Valentin Atangana will miss the upcoming match due to the accumulation of yellow cards, having received his third caution of the season against Al-Nassr.
Al Ahly's struggles are increasing due to the absence of several of their stars who have joined their national teams, including Edouard Mendy, Franck Kessié, and Riyad Mahrez, to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
