Saturday 03-01-2026
The management of Al-Ittihad Saudi Club has outlined its approach regarding the anticipated moves during the current winter transfer window, while finalizing its stance on making new signings to strengthen the team.

Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper revealed that Al-Ittihad does not plan to make a strong move in the winter transfer market, preferring to rely on the current players and give them full confidence until the end of the season.

The newspaper explained that Al-Ittihad's management may resort to making only one domestic transfer if there is a technical need for it, without affecting the list of foreign players.

The federation aims to complete the remaining matches of the season with the same foreign players, especially as several players are approaching the free agency period in their contracts.

At the top of this list are Fabinho, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kanté, and Danilo Pereira, whose contract situations will be evaluated at the end of the current season.

Reports indicated that a large budget has not been allocated for the winter transfer window, which begins on January 5 and continues until February 2.

Al-Ittihad currently occupies sixth place in the Roshn Saudi League standings with 20 points, earned from six wins, two draws, and three losses.
