The African Football Confederation (CAF) revealed the ideal lineup for the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
CAF selected only one player from the Egyptian national team in the ideal lineup for the group stage, goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy, while the rest of the names were as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shenawy (Egypt).
Defense line: Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco), Tawanzi Bi (Congo), Tabasoba (Burkina Faso), Ali Al-Abidi (Tunisia).
Midfield: Ibrahim Diaz (Morocco), Baliba (Cameroon), Lukman (Nigeria).
Forward line: Riyad Mahrez (Algeria), Amad Diallo (Ivory Coast), Sadio Mané (Senegal).
