Al-Nassr Club of Saudi Arabia continues to stick to its plan regarding the future of Brazilian goalkeeper Bento Matheus as the current winter transfer window begins.

Al-Nassr management is working on marketing Pinto Matheus, as they wish to end his tenure with the team during the current January transfer window.

The Saudi sports newspaper reported that the Brazilian goalkeeper was no longer in the plans of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, prompting the management to look for suitable offers for his departure.

In the match between Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli in the thirteenth round, Pinto was excluded from the squad, with the young goalkeeper Raghd Al-Najjar being relied upon instead.

Giorgi Jesus prefers to do without Pinto in order to create an opportunity to sign a new foreign player in the midfield or attack, while relying on Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Raghd Al-Najjar.

Pinto Matheus joined Al-Nassr from Brazilian club Atlético Paranaense in the summer of 2023 for 18 million euros, and has participated in 10 matches this season.

The Brazilian goalkeeper conceded 7 goals and managed to keep a clean sheet in 5 matches, before his presence in the team's lineup declined in recent times.
