Official: Aston Villa Announces Signing of Brazilian Winger Alisson
Aston Villa officially announced via its official website the signing of the young Brazilian player Alisson, who is 19 years old, coming from the Brazilian club Grêmio.
Alisson is considered one of the most prominent rising talents in Brazilian football, having progressed through Grêmio's academy before making his first-team debut in July 2024.
During last season, Alisson became a key player for Grêmio, participating in 34 league matches, which reflects his technical abilities and contribution to the team, before moving his professional career to the English Premier League with Aston Villa.
Although Aston Villa did not disclose the transfer fee, it cost the club's treasury 8 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
