Sharahili Clarifies His Readiness After Al-Ittihad's Victory Over Neom
Ahmed Sharahili, defender of Al-Ittihad Club, addressed a clarifying message to the team's fans after participating in the 2-0 victory over Neom in the 12th round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League on Wednesday evening.
Sharahili played a key role in the match, emphasizing in his interview with “Thamaniya” channel that he is fully ready. He said, “I want to clarify to the Al-Ittihad fans that recently there have been talks about my lack of readiness and that I am struggling with an injury, but this is not true. Don’t believe anything about me except what is published by the club’s official account.”
The defender added: "I am ready to play the full match, and I respect the coach's decisions. When the opportunity comes, I will play. I tell the Al-Ittihad fans not to believe anything said about me, as I am fully prepared to participate for the entire 90 minutes."
Al-Ittihad's victory over Neom came thanks to goals from the Portuguese Roger Fernandes, the Dutchman Steven Bergwijn, and Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, while the Algerian Saïd Benrahma scored the sole goal for the home team. This win allows Al-Ittihad to continue their pursuit of the top spot in the Saudi league.
