Al Hilal Club continued its strong push in the race for the top spot after securing an important 3-1 victory over Al-Kholood in a match held as part of the 12th round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League.

The match saw a clear dominance by Al-Hilal, which was translated into the first goal by Serbian player Sergej Savić, who launched a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the 45th minute.

The quest for immortality became complicated early on after Abdulrahman Al-Dosari was sent off in the 37th minute, forcing the team to finish the match with ten players under continuous pressure from Al-Hilal.

Immortality returned to the match temporarily after Romario Henrique scored the equalizer from a penalty in the fifth minute of stoppage time, following a handball by Savic.

Al Hilal quickly regained the lead through the Frenchman Theo Hernandez, who followed up on a rebound from goalkeeper Juan Cuzani and put the ball into the net in the 61st minute.

Theo Hernandez extended Al Hilal's lead by scoring their third goal in the 84th minute, confirming the champion's dominance and securing all three points.

Al Hilal increased their total to 29 points, moving up to second place and narrowing the gap with league leaders Al Nassr to two points, while Al Khulood remained stuck at 9 points in thirteenth place.
