The Algerian national team secured a well-deserved 3-1 victory over Equatorial Guinea in the third and final round of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Algeria took the lead with a goal by Zinedine Belaid in the 19th minute, followed by a goal from Farès Chaibi in the 25th minute.
In the 32nd minute, Ibrahim Maza scored the third goal, while Equatorial Guinea scored a consolation goal in the 50th minute through Emilio Nsue.
Algeria raised their points tally to 9 at the top of the group, while Equatorial Guinea remained at zero points in fourth place, with Burkina Faso and Sudan also qualifying from Group E.
Algeria is scheduled to face Congo in the round of 16.
