The same source pointed out that both Manchester City and Newcastle United are closely monitoring the situation, as the competition to sign the English international intensifies, especially given the difficulties Alexander-Arnold has faced in adapting to life in Spain due to his declining form and recurring injuries.

Real Madrid signed the English star last summer, coming from Liverpool, for 10 million euros.
