The management of Al-Ahli Jeddah Club successfully completed their first signing of the winter transfer window by strengthening the first football team with the acquisition of the young Brazilian striker Ricardo Matias, a player from the Brazilian club Internacional, as part of the club's efforts to enhance its attacking capabilities.

Al Ahly's management has reached a final agreement with their counterparts at Internacional regarding the player's transfer. Only the official signing remains to fully announce the deal, according to sports analyst Walid Saeed on his official account on the platform "X."

In a clear sign that the deal is nearing completion, the agency representing 19-year-old Ricardo Matias posted a photo of the Al Ahly jersey on their Instagram account, a move that followers interpreted as confirmation that all transfer details have been finalized.

Al Ahly is scheduled to register the player in one of the two slots designated for foreign players born in 2004 or later, after the Brazilian striker successfully completed all medical examination procedures.

The contract with Matthias comes at the direct request of the German coach Matthias Jaissle, who emphasized the necessity of strengthening the forward line during the upcoming winter transfer window.
