Al Ahli Club secured an important victory that restored confidence among its fans, after defeating Al-Fayha 2-0 in the match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, as part of the 11th round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League.

Al Ahly entered the match with a clear determination to regain their winning momentum, as the German coach Matthias Jaissle relied on a balanced lineup that combined defensive solidity with offensive effectiveness from the very first minutes.

Al-Ahli opened the scoring early through English striker Ivan Toney in the sixth minute, after receiving a precise cross from the Brazilian Galeno inside the penalty area, and he shot the ball directly into Al-Fayha's net.

Al-Raqi dominated the first half, asserting their superiority in terms of possession and creating chances, while Al-Fayha players showed a clear decline, focusing mainly on defensive efforts. The half ended with Al-Ahli leading by a single goal.

In the second half, Al-Ahly continued their offensive pressure and succeeded in extending their lead with a second goal in the 64th minute. Following a corner kick expertly taken by Galeno, defender Roger Ibanez rose and headed the ball into the net.

The final minutes of the match saw defensive tension for Al Ahly, after Roger Ibanez received a yellow card in the 83rd minute, before the referee showed him a red card following a review with video technology, leaving Al Ahly to finish the match with ten players.

Despite being outnumbered, Al Ahly managed to maintain their lead until the final whistle, thanks to their defensive organization and tactical discipline, securing the match without conceding any goals.

With this victory, Al-Ahli raised their total to 22 points, securing fourth place in the Saudi League standings, while Al-Fayha remained stuck at 12 points in eleventh place, continuing their struggles in the competition table.
