Officials of the Saudi Al-Ahli club consider the duo Ali Al-Balhi and Qasim Lajami, players of Al-Hilal and Al-Qadisiyah respectively, among the list of options to strengthen the first football team's defensive line during the upcoming winter transfer period.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Okaz," the names of Al-Balhi and Lajami are on the table of the technical committee within Al-Ahli club, as part of the evaluation to sign one of them during the January winter transfer window.

The newspaper confirmed that Al-Ahli's management is studying several defensive options, as it aims to loan out some local players after assessing their technical levels, as part of a plan to reorganize the team's roster during the second half of the season.

Reports indicated that the duo Abdulilah Al-Khaibari and Ayman Falatah are among the most prominent names likely to leave Al-Ahli on loan during the upcoming winter transfer period.

Al-Ahli club is preparing to face its counterpart Al-Fayha today, as part of the twelfth round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League.
