Hossam Hassan talks about the draw against Angola
Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egypt national team, spoke about his team's goalless draw against Angola in the third and final group stage match of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Hossam Hassan said on beIN Sports: "What matters most to me is to make happy the fans who love the national team and football. I don't pay attention to others; there are those who don't like the national team, and I don't look at them. I always focus on the people who support the team with love."
He added: "I wanted to give some players a rest because we are in a good position, and anyone in my place would do the same. We still have a long way to go, and our ambition does not stop."
He concluded: "We will see the players who will add value alongside the main players, and we will prepare with full strength for the upcoming matches."
The Egyptian national team successfully qualified for the Round of 16 in the Africa Cup of Nations.
