The British newspaper "The Sun" revealed that Tottenham Hotspur has prepared a shortlist of three players to strengthen the team during the January transfer window, with Manchester City's Omar Marmoush leading the list.

The newspaper explained that Tottenham is seeking to strengthen its team quickly to improve its position in the Premier League standings, currently sitting in eleventh place. Meanwhile, Liverpool holds fourth place, seven points ahead. The club hopes to return to competing for spots that qualify for the Champions League.

The newspaper mentioned that the club has allocated a budget of up to £150 million for the winter transfer window, focusing on three key positions, including goalkeeper. They are considering signing goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen from Barcelona, who is seeking a starting spot ahead of the World Cup next summer.

The newspaper added that Marmoush is the most prominent option after joining Manchester City last January, but he has not had much playing time this season. The club is also linked with Samuel Omorodion, who has a release clause of £87 million, and Kenan Yildiz from Juventus.
