Monday 29-12-2025
Al-Ahli Saudi Club successfully secured the stay of their international striker Firas Al-Buraikan by reaching a final agreement to extend his contract, ensuring he remains with the team for the coming years.

Al-Ahli aims to maintain the stability of its key players, with Firas Al-Buraikan being one of the most influential names in coach Matthias Jaissle's lineup due to his consistently strong performance.

Portuguese sporting director Rui Pedro has reached a comprehensive agreement with the player to extend his contract beyond the upcoming participation in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup, according to the newspaper "Al-Bilad."

The negotiations between the two parties showed great flexibility and did not take long, especially given Firas Al-Buraikan's clear desire to continue his journey with the Asian Elite champion.

Firas Al-Buraikan joined Al-Ahli Jeddah in the summer of 2023 on a five-year contract, after terminating his contract with Al-Fateh and paying the full amount of the release clause.

The 25-year-old striker has played 96 matches for Al Ahly, scoring 25 goals and providing 17 assists, solidifying his position as one of the team's key attacking players.
