Abdulrahman Sufyani Joins Al-Nassr Training in Preparation for Al-Ettifaq
The first football team training session at Al-Nassr Club, held this morning at the "Dar Al-Nassr" stadium, featured the appearance of the rising talent Abdulrahman Sufyani as part of the preparations for the anticipated match against Al-Ettifaq.
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus of Al-Nassr called up the young player to participate in the team training session, just one day after he signed a professional contract with the club for three seasons.
Abdulrahman Sufyani, born on April 15, 2008, began his football journey on the dirt fields in the neighborhoods of Al-Kharj Governorate, south of the capital Riyadh, before making his official debut with Al-Kawkab Club.
Sufyani rose to prominence with the Saudi Arabia U-17 national team during the Gulf Cup tournament, where he helped Al-Akhdar secure the title and was awarded the Best Player of the tournament.
According to reports, Al Hilal club attempted to sign the young player, but Sufyani preferred to wear the Al Nassr jersey, as stated by Al Riyadiyah newspaper.
Al-Nassr is preparing to face Al-Ettifaq at the Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, as part of the 11th round of the Roshn Saudi League, on Tuesday evening at 8:30 PM.
Al-Nassr leads the Saudi League standings with 30 points, while Al-Ettifaq occupies seventh place with 15 points, giving the match added significance for both teams.
