The Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, currently taking place as part of the Dubai Sports Conference in the United Arab Emirates, announced Paris Saint-Germain as the Best Club in the World for 2025.

The French club won the award after outperforming a group of the world's top clubs, including Barcelona, Chelsea, and Liverpool, as well as Brazil's Flamengo, which was the only club from outside Europe on the final list.

Paris Saint-Germain's crowning achievement was well-deserved, following their historic sextuple victory, which included winning the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, the French Cup, the French Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.

The team continues to deliver outstanding performances under the leadership of their coach Luis Enrique, who himself received the Best Coach award at the same ceremony, further affirming the technical success of the Parisian club.

Paris Saint-Germain relies on a comprehensive project led by its president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, in collaboration with sporting director Luis Campos, as the club aims to continue winning titles in the coming years.

In this context, reports indicated that Paris Saint-Germain's management is moving towards renewing Luis Enrique's contract for a long-term period, in support of the team's sporting project stability.
