Lamine Yamal Crowned Best Forward in the World 2025 by Globe Soccer
Barcelona star and Spanish international Lamine Yamal was crowned the Best Forward in the World for 2025 by Globe Soccer at the ceremony currently taking place in Dubai.
The Spanish star received the award in person, attending the ceremony alongside the Barcelona delegation led by club president Joan Laporta and several players, including Alejandro Balde.
Yamal said: "Well, first of all, I would like to thank Globe Soccer for this award, and I thank my club, my family who always supports me, my mother who is here, my friends, everyone, and I also thank my teammates, without whom I wouldn't have been able to win it. I am very happy."
He concluded: "All the awards, whether collective or individual, are a source of pride for me, and I will continue working to achieve more of them."
Yamal was competing for this award alongside Ousmane Dembélé, Harry Kane, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Kylian Mbappé, Raphinha, and Mohamed Salah.
It is worth mentioning that Yamal also won the Best Young Player award in the Spanish League for the year 2025.
