Officially.. Doué named Best Young Player of 2025 by Globe Soccer
Paris Saint-Germain star Désiré Doué received the 2025 Young Player of the Year award from Globe Soccer at the ceremony currently taking place during the Dubai Sports Conference.
The legend Fabio Capello presented the award to the young French star, as Doué was part of the team delegation that attended the ceremony alongside Ousmane Dembélé and the club advisor Luis Campos.
After receiving the award, Doué said: "I would like to thank my parents for everything they have done for me. I am happy to live my dream every day by playing football. I also thank my teammates—without them, I wouldn't have achieved these accomplishments. I thank the coach and the technical staff, and I congratulate the sporting director Luis Campos on the award. I also thank my boss, Nasser Al-Khelaifi."
Doué was competing for this award alongside Bao Koparsi, João Neves, Arda Güler, Kenan Yıldız, and Ilyas Ben Saghir.
