Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, head of Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr club, expressed his deep frustration following the Saudi national team's exit from the Arab Cup in the semifinals, which was recently held in Qatar.

Jesus confirmed in statements to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper that he was looking forward to using the break period to see Al-Akhdar win the Arab Championship, considering that the exit from the semifinals was a shock before the league resumed.

The Saudi national team suffered a painful defeat against the Jordanian national team, losing 1-0 in the match between them on December 15th, during the Arab Cup semi-final.

The Al-Nassr coach spoke about the upcoming match against Al-Akhdoud in the eleventh round of the Saudi League, noting that the game will not be easy against a team fighting to escape the bottom of the standings.

Jesus explained that the trench includes distinctive elements and is led by a Portuguese technical staff, emphasizing that Portuguese teams rely on discipline and organization, which requires a high level of focus throughout the match.

The Portuguese coach also touched on the pressure of matches during this stage of the season, considering January one of the toughest periods due to the consecutive fixtures following breaks.

Al-Nassr Club leads the Saudi Professional League standings with 27 points, while Al-Akhdoud is in sixteenth place with only 5 points.
