Barcelona player Alejandro Balde, 22 years old, took advantage of the holiday period to travel to Abu Dhabi and visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, according to a report by the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

After spending some time in Dubai, Balde, accompanied by his brother Eddy, headed to the largest mosque in the UAE capital, where he wore traditional white attire and shared a photo of himself on his social media accounts, expressing his commitment to his religious faith.

This is not the first time the Barcelona player has shown signs of his religiosity, as he is known for performing prayers before the start of matches in the Muslim manner, hoping that this practice will give him the energy needed to continue the season with the best possible performance.

It is worth mentioning that FC Barcelona currently tops the Spanish league table with 46 points.
