Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, manager of Saudi club Al-Nassr, expressed his great happiness after the big 5-1 victory over Iraqi club Al-Zawraa in the final group stage match of the AFC Champions League.

Jesus confirmed in statements to Al-Yaum newspaper that Al-Nassr delivered a strong performance and appeared impressive, despite the team being away from official matches for twenty-eight days due to the league and Arab Cup being on hold.

The Portuguese coach explained that defender Abdelilah Omari possesses high technical abilities, noting that his performance in the match reflected his great skills and excellent positioning on the field.

Jesus added that Al-Amri has proven himself trustworthy and will be an important asset to the team in the upcoming phase, given the level of performance he is showing with Al-Nassr.

The Al-Nassr coach pointed out that the technical staff gave several players an opportunity during the match, given that a tough challenge awaits the team in the Roshn Saudi League in the coming days.

Jesus emphasized that Al-Nassr's bench includes a distinguished group of players capable of making a difference, which provides the team with multiple options in various competitions.

Jesus concluded his remarks by praising Rakan Al-Ghamdi, explaining that although he has not participated in recent training sessions, he still stood out noticeably. He affirmed that Rakan will be a strong addition to Al-Nassr and the Saudi national team in the future.

Al-Nassr Club finished the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2 at the top of their group with 18 points. The draw for the Round of 16 will be held on December 30th in Kuala Lumpur.
