Al Ahly Closes the Door on Kahraba's Return During the Winter Transfer Window
Friday 26-12-2025
Officials at Al Ahly Club have rejected the idea of Mahmoud Abdel Moneim "Kahraba," the Kuwaiti club Qadsia's player, returning to the team during the upcoming winter transfer window, despite his name being linked to a potential comeback as the club seeks to strengthen its attacking line.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, Kahraba tried to contact several officials and players of Al-Ahly, expressing his desire to return once again, especially since the coaching staff, led by the Danish Jes Thorup, needs to sign a striker during the January 2026 transfer window.

The newspaper explained that the player's attempts have not made any progress so far, despite his use of a good relationship with a member of the board of directors, as well as the intervention of some senior team players to mediate for his return.

Reports confirmed that Al-Ahly's management has finalized its decision to reject Kahraba's return permanently, indicating that the matter has been closed within the club. This follows a previous administrative decision to let him go due to the numerous crises and problems that accompanied his recent period with the team.
