A news report revealed the stance of Mohamed Awad, the goalkeeper of Zamalek Club, regarding his potential departure from the team during the upcoming winter transfer window. The player has made his decision to remain with the White Castle.

According to Al-Ahram newspaper, Mohamed Awad informed Zamalek's management of his desire to stay and rejected the idea of leaving during the winter transfer window, especially after returning to participate with the team in the Egyptian Super Cup matches.

The newspaper pointed out that John Edward, the sporting director of Zamalek, prefers to sell the goalkeeper during January as part of the club's efforts to reduce financial burdens, especially since there are alternatives available for the goalkeeper position, including Mohamed Sobhi, El Mehdi Suleiman, and Mahmoud El Shenawy.

Press reports had linked Mohamed Awad's name with a move to the Egyptian club Al-Masry during the upcoming transfer window, but the goalkeeper's determination to stay with Zamalek may complicate the completion of the deal.
