Van de Ven Contacts Isak to Apologize

The British newspaper The Times reported that Tottenham Hotspur defender, Mickey van de Ven, contacted Liverpool striker Alexander Isak to offer his apologies following a challenge during the recent match that resulted in a broken leg for Isak.

According to the newspaper, Van de Ven took the initiative to call Isak after realizing the severity of the injury, expressing his regret over the incident and confirming that the challenge was unintentional and occurred within the competitive nature of the game.

On his part, the Swedish striker accepted the apology in good sportsmanship, despite the severity of the injury which may sideline him for two months.

It is worth noting that Isak scored one of the two goals that secured the Reds' 2-1 victory in this encounter.
