The match witnessed intense competition from the early minutes, with both teams showing determination. Al-Naft managed to score early through player Ahmed Khalid in the 22nd minute, but the referee decided to cancel the goal due to offside after reviewing the situation, keeping the score tied.

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya imposed their superiority during most of the match, controlling the ball and creating several attacking attempts, but Al-Naft's defense stood firm against these efforts.
