Al-Khaleej Club of Saudi Arabia has set a clear condition before opening serious negotiations with the federation, concerning the future of its player Murad Hawsawi during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The Al-Khaleej management requested the officials of Al-Ittihad Club to specify the official financial value of the offer submitted, in preparation for clearly and systematically studying the possibility of selling Murad Hawsawi's contract.

The Gulf's position came after receiving an official letter from Al-Ittihad Club, in which they expressed their desire to sign Murad Hawsawi during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Al-Riyadiyah, the Saudi newspaper, confirmed that Al-Khaleej's management considers setting the financial compensation an essential and indispensable step in order to proceed with the negotiations and enter into the details of the deal officially.

At the same time, interest in Murad Hawsawi is not limited to Al-Ittihad; Al-Hilal is also strongly competing to secure the player's services during the upcoming January transfer window.

Murad Hawsawi is tied to a long-term contract with Al-Khaleej Club that extends until 2029, giving his club's management a strong negotiating position in any upcoming talks.
