Shock for Al-Nassr.. Simakan's Absence Duration Raises Jesus' Concerns
Monday 22-12-2025
Al-Nassr Club suffered a major setback after it was confirmed that their French defender, Mohamed Simakan, will be absent due to an injury he sustained during the team's group training sessions in recent days.

Simakan suffered a hamstring tear during Al-Nassr's training session on Monday, according to the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," which will sideline him from the team for a considerable period.

The absence of the French defender extends for up to four weeks, making his participation in the Riyadh derby against Al-Hilal, in the fifteenth round of the Roshn League, almost impossible.

The newspaper explained that Simakan will begin an intensive treatment and rehabilitation program starting today, with the aim of accelerating his return to the field after the muscle injury.

The Al-Nassr player will miss the matches against Al-Zawraa of Iraq in the AFC Champions League, as well as the games against Al-Akhdoud, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Ahli, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Hilal in the Roshn Saudi League.

In the same context, Spanish defender Iñigo Martínez of Al-Nassr is suffering from a minor knee injury, which prevented him from participating in Monday's training session, as he began his rehabilitation program.

Al-Nassr is preparing to face Iraq's Al-Zawraa next Wednesday at "Al-Oula Park" Stadium, as part of the sixth round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2.

Al-Nassr leads its group in the continental tournament with 15 points, having won all of its last five matches.
