Tottenham Considers Signing Omar Marmoush
Monday 22-12-2025
TEAMtalk revealed Tottenham Hotspur's interest in signing the Egyptian international Omar Marmoush from Manchester City during the January transfer window, after the club failed to sign Savinho from the same club last summer.

The site pointed out that Marmoush transferred to Manchester City coming from Eintracht Frankfurt, and that Tottenham sees him as an alternative option to Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, who is inclined to move to Liverpool, a club that has also shown interest in City.

Although Pep Guardiola does not want Marmoush to leave, after he has only started in two league matches this season, Tottenham may try to sign him on loan with an option to buy.

The same source explained that Tottenham is looking to strengthen the left wing, where Marmoush can play, benefiting from his ability to cut inside to score or create chances. He can also play as a pure striker to support the team amid the absence of some options due to injuries, or even in the attacking midfield to support the main striker when needed.

The report confirmed that Marmoush has the ability to adapt to Tottenham's attacking style and provide the required addition to the team in various attacking positions, making him a prominent player to watch in the winter transfer market.
