Moretto explained that the negotiations have witnessed clear progress and significant convergence of views, as the capital club seeks to finalize the deal as soon as possible, responding to the wishes of head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who places the player among his top priorities.

The same source pointed out that the current obstacle lies in Manchester United's position, which has yet to give the final green light to complete the deal, despite the positive atmosphere surrounding the negotiations.
