Barcelona continued its remarkable dominance in the Spanish league during 2025, clearly ahead of its rival Real Madrid, according to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" in its report on the Catalan team's achievements throughout the year.

According to the newspaper, Barcelona, led by coach Hans Flick, accumulated 96 points in La Liga through matches played between the end of the 2024/2025 season and the start of the 2025/2026 season, compared to only 86 points for Real Madrid, along with scoring 102 goals against 73 goals for the white team.

The newspaper explained that Barcelona played 37 rounds in the Spanish league during 2025, with 19 matches in the 2024/2025 season and 18 matches in the current 2025/2026 season, achieving 31 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses, with a 91% unbeaten rate.

The newspaper added that this record led Barcelona to win the La Liga title last season, as well as topping the league table in the current season with a four-point lead over Real Madrid.

On the scoring level, the newspaper pointed out that Barcelona scored 102 goals and conceded only 37 during this period, achieving a goal difference of +65, compared to a much smaller difference for Real Madrid, which scored 73 goals and conceded 36.

The report confirmed that this superiority gave Barcelona a clear advantage over the other La Liga clubs during 2025, both in terms of points and offensive strength, consolidating its domestic dominance during this period.
