Hani Abu Rida Delivers Motivational Message to Egyptian National Team Players
Hani Abu Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, delivered a motivational message to the Egyptian national team players ahead of their match against Zimbabwe in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Egypt national team will face the Zimbabwe national team this evening, Monday, in the first round of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Abu Rida said during a meeting held with the national team players: "Everyone expects a lot from you during the Africa Cup of Nations and to win the title, despite the strong competition from the other teams."
He added: "The current generation includes a large group of outstanding players, and it is essential to win the Africa Cup of Nations title to add a new chapter to the history of this generation and to bring joy to the Egyptian fans."
The president of the Egyptian Football Association called on the Pharaohs players to win the eighth star after having secured the Africa Cup of Nations title seven times, most recently in 2010.
