The Real Madrid player received a rating of 8.1 from the statistics-focused website "SofaScore," following his outstanding performance that directly contributed to the "Lions'" winning goal and created several dangerous opportunities against the opposing team's goal.

Coach Walid Regragui showed confidence in Diaz's abilities by starting him in the lineup, where he played for 76 minutes before being substituted by Youssef En-Nesyri. The team then went on to secure the win with a second goal.
