Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot appeared in a press statement after the 2-1 loss against Aston Villa in the seventeenth round of the English Premier League.

The Portuguese defender said: "We performed well in the match. We pressed them strongly in their areas, and we knew they preferred to play long balls. If we had won the second ball, we could have controlled the course of the game. I think we succeeded well in that in the first half, where we had one or two chances."

He emphasized: "We did enough to score more goals. We did not capitalize on the chances we had, and this is the summary of what happened today."

Regarding Bruno Fernandes' injury: "It is a severe loss. We do not know the extent of the injury, but we know how tough he is. We hope the injury is not serious and that we keep him with us in the upcoming matches."
