Jesus Gives Al-Nassr Substitutes a Chance to Participate Against Al-Zawraa
Al-Nassr's group training today saw the participation of the five international players Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Nawaf Boushel, Raghed Al-Najjar, Abdullah Al-Khaibri, and Abdulilah Al-Amri, following the conclusion of their involvement with the Saudi national team in the Arab Cup.
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus supervised the training session, which lasted about two hours and focused on intensifying physical fitness and implementing some technical and tactical plans in preparation for the upcoming match against Al-Zawraa of Iraq.
Jesus intends to move the team's training sessions to the evening on Tuesday, while the morning session on Monday will be held for all players, to ensure the full recovery and readiness of the international players.
The coaching staff confirmed that most of the substitute players will have the opportunity to participate against Al-Zawraa, in order to test the lineup and strengthen the competition within the team before the official match.
Al-Nassr is preparing to face Al-Zawraa in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2, next Wednesday at Al-Ol Park Stadium in the capital, Riyadh.
These preparations come as part of Al-Nassr's efforts to maintain their lead in the group and achieve a perfect record, following a strong performance in the previous five rounds.
