Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari has entered a new phase of uncertainty within the walls of Egyptian club Al Ahly, after the management of the "Red Castle" began studying scenarios for marketing him in the upcoming period, as a prelude to making a final decision regarding his continuation with the team.

According to Egyptian media data, Al Ahly has initiated contacts with several clubs in the Moroccan Professional League, foremost among them the Royal Army Club, in a move aimed at exploring possible offers that may meet the club's aspirations on both the sporting and financial levels.

Dari's future has become open to more than one option, awaiting the outcome of ongoing negotiations between Al Ahly's management and the parties interested in his services, especially given the coaching staff led by Jes Thorup's desire to make changes at the back line, either by bringing in a foreign defender as a replacement or redirecting the budget towards strengthening the attacking line during the upcoming winter transfer window.

On the other hand, the Moroccan defender insists on clear conditions before any step towards departure, requiring the settlement of all his outstanding financial dues, which exceed $2.5 million, including the current season's salary in addition to the value of the remaining two seasons in his contract, which complicates the file of his exit.

These developments come at a time when Dari has not succeeded in establishing a regular presence with Al Ahly, due to successive injuries that kept him away from the fields for long periods, which hastened the opening of discussions within the club about his near future.
