Final Deadline for Roshn Clubs.. The Association Extends the Date and Applies Pressure with Calculations
The Saudi Professional League announced a new step that gives Roshn League clubs an additional opportunity to rectify their financial situations before entering a critical phase of the season.
Informed sources revealed that the association officially contacted the clubs through a circular sent last Thursday regarding the extension of the deadline for settling overdue financial dues.
According to the circular, the deadline for submitting the financial clearance statement for outstanding dues as of September 30 has been postponed, changing from December 25 of this year to January 25 of next year.
This decision came based on the directives of the Financial Control Committee, which issued its decision on December 18, as part of the review of the financial obligations of the clubs.
The association aims with this step to complete the requirements for obtaining the financial competence certificate related to football activities, in preparation for the start of the second half of the 2024 season.
The Saudi League Association emphasized, through an official email, the necessity for clubs to adhere to the specified deadlines without any delay in submitting the required documents.
The association confirmed that adherence to financial procedures ensures the swift completion of audit processes and spares the clubs from any regulatory obstacles in the upcoming period.
