FIFA Shocks Al-Nassr with a Resounding Decision
Saturday 20-12-2025
FIFA has announced an urgent decision to suspend Al-Nassr Club's registration during the current period, due to a legal dispute involving one of the team's players.

Al-Nassr Club clarified in an official statement that the suspension of registration was due to overdue financial dues related to a player who had previously been part of the team.

FIFA confirmed in its statement that the lifting of the registration ban on Al-Nassr is contingent upon the full payment of the required financial dues, in accordance with the regulations adopted by the international federation.

This decision comes at a sensitive time, especially since Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus is planning to strengthen Al-Nassr's squad with several signings during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Al-Nassr officials hope to resolve the crisis quickly in order to implement the technical support plans that have been developed to enhance the team's chances of competing for local and continental championships.

In a related context, Al-Nassr is preparing to face Iraq's Al-Zawraa in the upcoming round of the AFC Champions League 2, in a match hosted at the First Park Stadium.

According to the announcement, the number of clubs suspended from registration in the Roshn League has increased to four clubs: Al-Riyadh, Al-Shabab, Al-Nassr, and Damac, following recent FIFA decisions.
