These criticisms came after the Spanish program "El Chiringuito TV" aired a video showing Vinicius alongside Endrick sharing laughs on the bench, along with Arda Guler and Mastantuno, at a sensitive moment that coincided with Talavera scoring the second goal in the match, amid a visibly tense atmosphere surrounding coach Xabi Alonso and the technical staff.

Some media outlets and fans considered the players' behavior to be inconsistent with the seriousness of the situation, especially in a match that was challenging and nearly complicated the royal team's task in the tournament.

Journalist Pepe Estrada said: "The Bernabeu fans will not forgive this.
