One of Al-Nassr Club's foreign professionals is considering ending his experience in the Roshn League and returning to European football, as his contract with the capital team approaches its end in the summer of 2026.

Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, who specializes in transfer news, revealed that Al-Nassr's management has made an official offer to Marcelo Brozovic to extend his contract, but no final agreement has been reached yet.

Schira explained, via his account on the platform "X," that negotiations are still halted due to differing viewpoints between the two parties regarding some contractual details.

The same source indicated that the Croatian midfielder is seriously considering a return to Europe, although he is aware that his current salary poses a significant obstacle to this move.

He added that Brozović will be required to significantly reduce his salary if he wishes to continue his career within Europe in the upcoming phase.

Brozović, 33 years old, joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023 from Inter Milan, signing a contract that lasts until June 2026.

The Croatian star played 99 matches for Al-Nassr across various competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 20 assists, becoming one of the key pillars in the midfield.
