Al Hilal Chooses Bono's Successor for the Upcoming Period

Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, head of Saudi club Al Hilal, has made an early decision regarding the goalkeeper position, having settled on the name of the substitute during the absence of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bono.

Yassine Bono will be absent from Al Hilal's lineup in the upcoming phase due to his participation with the Moroccan national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, which officially begins next Sunday.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Inzaghi prefers to rely on Mohammed Al-Rubaie to guard Al-Hilal's goal, ahead of the French goalkeeper Mathieu Baudry.

The newspaper explained that Baudry was absent from the friendly match against Neom, which Al Hilal lost 2-1, due to a tactical decision by Inzaghi, who chose to give confidence to Mohammed Al-Rubaie.

The French goalkeeper previously participated in Al Hilal's 5-0 victory over the Iraqi Police team in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League Elite competition.

Al Hilal continues its preparations to face UAE's Sharjah, scheduled for next Monday, as part of the sixth round of the AFC Champions League Elite. The team is placing a particular technical focus on the goalkeeper position.
