New Date for the Delivery of Al Hilal Training Stadium
Al Hilal Club is anticipating a significant administrative development regarding the training facility for the first football team, after a new date was set for receiving the stadium designated to host the training sessions in the upcoming period.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the company responsible for the development project of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's stadium has decided to postpone the handover of the facility designated for Al-Hilal Club until the end of next January.
The newspaper explained that the reason for the postponement is the incomplete readiness of the main stadium, along with delays in finishing some supporting facilities that were scheduled to be delivered by the end of this December.
The same sources indicated that Al Hilal Club Company continuously monitors the progress of the work and oversees the stages of project implementation to ensure the new headquarters is delivered according to the agreed specifications.
Al Hilal had signed a contract with Princess Nourah University last July, designating the stadium as the official training ground for the first team during the upcoming period.
In a related context, Al Hilal is preparing to face Sharjah of the UAE in the AFC Champions League Elite competition, in a match scheduled to take place on the evening of Monday, December 22.
Al-Zaeem enters the Asian match as the leader of the AFC Champions League Elite group standings with 15 points, having won all five of their matches so far.
